Kenwood House, Hampstead, London.
BIG DAY INSPIRATION AT KENWOOD WEDDING SHOWCASE
Couples looking for a magnificent and unique location for their wedding day - and inspirational ideas to help make it perfect - can tour one of Londonís most prestigious and imposing locations during a free wedding showcase at Kenwood, Robert Adamís 18th century masterpiece in Hampstead, on Saturday 7 February.
The stunning house will be showcasing a DJ and dance floor in the Old Kitchen and couples will have the chance to view its unique interiors and sample some of the services they could hire for their special day.
From 10am-1pm, top suppliers including caterers, florists, lighting, entertainment, wedding car suppliers and photographers will be on hand to provide inspiration.
The professional English Heritage Hospitality team will be available to offer advice about weddings during 2015 and beyond. They will also be hosting tours through the rooms, including the licensed Dining Room and Orangery as well as the Green Room and Music Room which are available for drinks receptions and dining for up to 80. A marquee space outside can also be seen for those interested in a larger occasion, for up to 480 guests.
Kenwood re-opened to the public following a major facelift to its fine exteriors and interiors late in 2013. Its stunning rooms and priceless artworks have been beautifully redisplayed, making it one of Londonís most elegant and sought-after wedding locations.
