I shoot in a relaxed and informal style, capturing the key moments of the day as they happen. My attention is focused on the bride and groom, but I will always try to record as many family members and guests as possible in the time allowed.

Many people feel awkward with the thought of being photographed. Rather than present you with a series of posed images, my aim is to record for you the genuine emotions of you and your guests on the day, working in a candid and unobtrusive fashion. I often work with a telephoto lens so that I can stay far enough away from the action to not influence it, while still getting in close enough to capture the intimacy.

I work using professional Canon digital SLR cameras, using low light Canon lenses which allow me to work with natural light where possible. Digital allows for greater latitude in weather and changing light conditions, and also for creative enhancement and colour conversion in post processing.
