Bridport is a town with much to recommend it for a wedding venue, not least the fact that it has a brewery that was established at the end of the 18th century – surely something to consider for a wedding toast or two – or maybe a quick nerve steadier before the ceremony – but just one! Your photographer may wish to incorporate West Bay a mile or so down the road in your pictures, and the famous Chesil Beach and general beauty of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast (no dinosaurs to worry about though) both add to the scenic splendour, though with its wide pavements (once used as ropewalks) and plenty of fine old buildings the centre is no ugly duckling either.
