If you choose Honiton as the venue for your wedding celebrations – and there are plenty of reasons why you should – the dress absolutely has to have a trace or preferably more of the lace for which the town was celebrated (if it was good enough for Queen Victorian then why not the rest of us?). It will probably have to be antique stuff these days, but given the place has plenty of antique shops that may not be too much of a problem. Take a moment or two to lift your eyes from that material though, and take in the Georgian buildings in the town and the fine countryside – especially the Blackdown Hills – around it.
