With its beach restored for those long and romantic moonlit walks prior to the big day, Seaford has something fitting to offer the love-struck – which we sincerely hope you are if you are planning a wedding! That same terrain once witnessed rather nastier moments – centuries ago this was a town famed for its wreckers who lured ships ashore with false lights to plunder their cargoes, and before that for raids by French pirates – all very dramatic but it’s probably better that the seafront is now a quieter and a pleasanter place, albeit with the same dramatic backdrop of the cliffs at Seaford Head.
