Barnsgate Manor has established itself over many years as one of the most popular wedding venues in this part of Sussex. The peaceful and romantic setting offers wonderful facilities and beautiful surroundings, with spectacular views over the open countryside and forest to the South Downs in the distance. It makes the perfect venue for Wedding Receptions and Ceremonies.
Our unique all-inclusive Platinum Wedding Package for parties of 50 to 200 guests offers tremendous value and promises you a marvellous, unforgettable Wedding experience. The wide variety of attractive facilities at Barnsgate Manor also allows us to cater very successfully for smaller Weddings, particularly popular on weekdays.

On your special day, you can make a grand entrance via the long picturesque driveway if you arrive by car or even a horse-drawn carriage. Alternatively, for a spectacular entrance, we are licensed for a helicopter to land in our grounds.
However you choose to make your arrival, you will receive the warmest of welcomes from our Master of Ceremonies and our Wedding Co-ordinators. Your guests will already have been met by them with a choice of either Bucks Fizz or Pimms and soft drinks, which are freely available up to the Wedding Breakfast itself.
Barnsgate is ideally located for wonderful photography with its beautiful views, listed buildings and the vineyard as backdrops for your Wedding Day memories.

We have two beautifully presented rooms available for Civil Wedding Ceremonies. Our Marriage Parlour can accommodate up to 60 guests, whilst our listed Museum Suite can be used for a larger ceremony with up to 150 guests.

As part of our special Platinum Wedding Package, we offer a wonderful choice of menu options for your Wedding Breakfast to cater for every taste from the traditional 3-course meal to a carved buffet. Wines, mineral water and soft drinks are served lavishly throughout the meal, and a glass of Champagne is also provided for your guests to toast the Bride and Groom.
During the Wedding Breakfast there is entertainment by a String Quartet, or, if not available, by a Harp Soloist, and by our resident close-up Table Magician. Included is a visit by our lucky Chimney Sweep (subject to availability).

For the Evening Reception Barnsgate Manor has a purpose-built, air-conditioned disco and party room, the Ashdown Cellars, with its own bar and outside patio area. Situated underneath the Ashdown Restaurant, the disco can take up to 250 guests and our regular professional DJ can cater for any musical tastes. For those not wishing to dance, the Ashdown Restaurant will remain available for your guests. During the evening you have the choice of a splendid barbecue (weather permitting) or a delightful finger buffet.
There is no extra charge for additional guests attending the Evening Reception.
