We are delighted that you are considering using The Bear as the venue for your forthcoming Wedding. Your special occasion deserves our undivided attention and this is something everyone at The Bear prides themselves on. The team will do everything they can to ensure your important Day goes without a single hitch. We can liaise with the cake maker and the florist, advise you on a menu and the appropriate fine wines. We also assist with little details such as place cards and ensuring Granny gets the cup of tea she so dearly wants. Suffice to say nothing is too much trouble for the team at The Bear, if there is something you want just ask…………….

Your special day – The Bear Hotel Hungerford has been licensed by West Berkshire Registry Office to hold Civil Ceremonies in two rooms within the hotel.

Riverside Suite – Overlooking the River Dunn, and with its own private conservatory and patio this unique room is a popular choice for couples, licensed for up to 70 guests.

The Bear Restaurant – Say “I do” in the relaxed surroundings of our contemporary restaurant. This room is licensed for up to 60 guests.

Private Dining Room – Ideal for smaller Wedding parties, this room lends itself for numbers up to 20 who wish to partake in a formal meal.

Rooms – A touch of luxury on your Special Night: rooms are of a contemporary design, big comfy beds, cool Egyptian linen and bathrooms to die for: after all it is your wedding night!

All this together with the usual mod cons of flat screen LCD TVs with 12 channels and movies on demand, plus broadband hardwired and wifi.

The Big Day – The Bear prides itself in going that extra yard every time. To make your Day easier we can organise as much or as little of you Day as you require, from flowers to place cards, from menus to disposable cameras, nothing is too small and nothing is too much trouble, all you need to do is ask.
