A Fairy Tale Wedding Venue

Sometimes described as a Fairy Tale Castle with its quirky roofscape, romantic tower and spires, elaborate stone, iron and brickwork and fine carved oak panelling, Beaucastle is a beautiful Arts-and-Crafts creation and ‘a house full of constant surprises’.

The drive to Beaucastle is more than a quarter of a mile long terminating around a central fountain flanked on one side by the meandering lawns and a picturesque lake and on the other the lovely woods of the forest. The grounds and gardens of the house will pleasantly surprise you with wonderful treasures with the old carriage drive crossing an arch bridge beside the lake and a pathway that leads below the house and with views back to the house and towards the rockery and beyond.

When you hire Beaucastle for your wedding you get the House and 7 luxury en-suite bedrooms.

The House can accommodate wedding receptions for up to 60 guests and larger wedding receptions are held in our beautiful marquee on the lawn.

All wedding catering at Beaucastle is supplied by Touch of Taste Ltd, who work in partnership with Amazing Retreats.
