The Black Horse Inn is now an approved Premises for Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships or a perfect location for your Wedding Reception.

The location and gardens provide a beautiful backdrop for the smaller intimate wedding party from 8 to 40 guests. We do afternoon receptions but do not cater for evening receptions.

Between the months of April to October you can get married in the lovely gazebo in the private gardens with drinks in the garden to enable you and your guests photograph and relaxation time, or between October and April your service can be held in our historic pub. The pub boasts a wealth of character with exposed beams, roaring log fire and hops creating a magical atmosphere in which to celebrate with friends and family.

From a large selection of dishes you can design your own wedding menu which enables you to work to your own budget. To help provide an excellent sit down, meals should be scheduled for 12.15 or 3pm or later with a finishing time of 6.30pm when guests can then use the bar or our covered terrace to continue the celebration.

We have 30 en-suite bed and breakfast rooms in our grounds, availability and prices on request.
