As elegant as the bird itself, The Black Swan, is a unique hotel, which combines a collection of styles and architecture dating back to the fifteenth century. Today the hotel has been carefully transformed to create a stylish and distinctive four star boutique hotel, located in one of North Yorkshire�s prettiest market towns.

The hotel retains a wonderfully historic and romantic charm with snug lounges, open log fires, and a quintessentially English country walled gardens. Outside the hotel, Helmsley offers a wonderful selection of backdrops for your wedding photography including Helmsley Castle, Duncombe Park, and the babbling brook which runs through the town.

Whatever style of wedding you want, you can be assured that your every need will be personally dealt with by our dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator to ensure that your wedding day is unique and special in every way. The Black Swan offers four different wedding packages � the Elegantly Classic wedding package, the Yours for the Day wedding package, The Cygnet wedding package, and The Black Swan Exclusive Use wedding package.

The Cygnet wedding package and the Yours for the Day wedding package are ideal for up to 50 guests, and the Elegantly Classic and The Black Swan Exclusive Use wedding packages are ideal for up to 90 guests.

We also welcome your ideas and thoughts and are happy to tailor make packages to meet your personal requirements.
