Dating back to the early 20 century, Blakemore House at Little Wymondley, just two miles from Stevenage in the Hertfordshire countryside, has recently been refurbished to provide a flexible venue for wedding receptions and private entertaining.

There are six separate rooms, which accommodate between 20 and 500. Four of these rooms open out onto the gardens where there is also space for a marquee for up to 500 guests.

With onsite hotel accommodation and a flexible, friendly and personal approach, Blakemore House is the ideal venue for corporate and private events.

WEDDING RECEPTION
Whether it is an intimate gathering for close family or a larger celebration we have the perfect room for the perfect party; you can even hold your ceremony at Blakemore House. Choose from one of our six fabulous rooms or the spectacular Garden Room with integrated bar. Alternatively we can arrange a marquee in the grounds for larger and more elaborate events up to 500.

We will discuss, advise and ensure every detail including floral decorations, music and entertainment, catering and accommodation onsite or nearby is covered and tailored for your wedding day.

Blakemore House also lends itself as the perfect venue for family celebrations such as notable birthdays, retirement events and christenings.

Blakemore House is managed by London based event caterers, Richmond Creative Events. The Richmond team are well known for their exceptional service and outstanding menus.
