This is undoubtedly one of the most romantic locations in England; a Hotel and a Smuggler's Inn set on a private island, surrounded by sea, sunshine and drama, and at low tides accessible over the virgin beach. Uncountable romances have begun and flourished here since the hotel was opened in 1929. Edward Windsor and Wallis Simpson being one of the earliest and most notorious couples.

Burgh Island is dedicated to your ceremony and celebrations. We are a very different style of location and, we hope, we provide a very different style of service to our wedding couples. For over four years we have been organising and hosting weddings for couples looking for something unusual but sophisticated, classically art deco but very personal, intimate but glamorous.
