Steeped in history and idyllically set amid 23 acres of lush rolling countryside and verdant woodland, Chilston Park is a Grade 1 listed mansion lovingly restored to its original splendour.

Inside, the ambience is such that you can almost sense the aroma of romance permeating its rooms and hallways especially at dusk when hundreds of candles are lit as if to underline the sense of romance for which the house is famed.

The Orangery, a beautiful conservatory, enjoying 180 degree views, is licensed to hold civil marriages and can accommodate up to 90 guests. The reception can be held in any of seven different and very distinct rooms ranging from the Library where up to 18 people can sit down for dinner, to the Fitzhammond Suite where 90 guests can enjoy a sumptuous wedding breakfast.

The hotel's 53 bedrooms, including 13 four poster beds and two suites, have been individually decorated and furnished to the highest standards. Unlike most hotels, there are no room numbers at Chilston Park, instead each room has a name that also serves as a theme for the interior decor, from the Camelot, Raj and Gothic, to the Red, Art Deco and Ascot rooms, each has its own distinctive personality.

In the summer of 2003, Chilston Park was awarded 4 Red Stars by the AA, placing it within the Top 200 Hotels in the UK. The hotel also boasts 2AA Rosettes for the quality of its food.
