"Craflwyn was a perfect venue for us. We wanted to get married among the mountains we love. There were lots of benefits at Craflwyn that made it very different to other venues. It's very private because you hire it just for your party and they were flexible with our plans. Inside was a really big bonus because not only is it beautifully decorated for photos if it rains, but there are different rooms for different activities during the evening. We had 14 people stay the night in its accommodation"

The historic Craflwyn estate dates back to around 1200 AD. Having been part of a monastery, a family residence and a Victorian hunting lodge, it is set in a stunning location at the foot of Snowdon, in the Nantgwynant valley, with dramatic views and a magical atmosphere.

Craflwyn is the perfect venue for a wedding. It provides a stunning but informal backdrop to the most important day of your life. You can have your ceremony here or hire it just for the reception. Your guests can stay on site and you are guaranteed privacy as you will have exclusive use of the Hall

There are wonderful opportunities for photographs both in the Hall and in the surrounding parkland. In Summer your guests can enjoy drinks on the veranda, soaking up the beautiful views of the Nantgwynant valley. In Winter they can settle in front of one of the many log fires.

We can provide details of a variety of caterers who can do everything from hog roasts to five-course dinners. Alternatively you can bring your own caterers or get family and friends to lend a hand.
