As you meander down the drive, past the meadows and through the oak trees, you will arrive at one of Yorkshire's grandest country houses. Built and owned by the Dugdale family until 1977 this is a house that has played host to lords, queens and diplomats over the years including HRH The Queen Mother, Sir Winston Churchill and Macmillan. It has always been a place where people came to enjoy themselves to the full, a tradition that still remains today.
Far from being intimidated by the grandeur, you will soon feel like a guest in an old friend's home. A feeling that's fuelled by the genuine and warm hospitality you receive when you arrive.
