Duncton Mill Trout Fishery is regarded as one of the finest waterside venues in West Sussex , available for wedding reception hire.
Our location is surpurb - an easy commute from London, we are conveniently located just off the A285 (4 miles south of Petworth and 7 miles north of Chichester) nestled at the foot of the South Downs in an area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty'
The picturesque natural setting is rural yet modern. The facilities available are of the highest standard offering all the modern conveniences, yet preserving the rustic charm of the site.
We are a family run business and only hold a limited number of weddings beside the lakes each year, we can therefore go that extra mile to ensure that your wedding runs smoothly. We are able to offer you a personal service and are on hand to support you in the months leading your to your wedding and most importantly on your special day itself.
We are primarily a marquee reception site, and our beautiful venue gives you scope to create an original wedding that you and your guests won't forget. You can be as hands on or off as you like - we want to give you the flexibility to put as much of ‘you’ into your special day as you want. No pre-packaged weddings here!
We don’t have set caterers or marquee companies and we don’t charge corkage so you can save money by catering yourselves and bringing your own drinks. We won’t tell you what décor or colour schemes you have to use, the stunning lakeside location nestled at the foot of the South Downs is enough to inspire you and creates the perfect backdrop to your celebrations.
The evening can finish off with fireworks across the lakes - a wonderful site watching the reflection of the fireworks in the water.
Our Speciality
A beautiful 14ft wooden rowing boat, decorated with bunting and pretty cushions is now available for hire
The boat will be moored off a jetty beside the marquee, with tables and chairs overlooking the water.
Lanterns will also be positioned around the lakes, to be lit at dusk, the perfect setting to end your very special day.

We are now fully booked for weddings with a late night licence in 2012, BUT are able to take daytime bookings where the music is switched off by 9.30pm and we are offering substantial discounts for these bookings.
