Fashioned from a row of Grade II listed former Cambridge University houses in the heart of the city, Hotel du Vin comprises of 41 bedrooms priding themselves on the HdV trademark monsoon showers, Egyptian Linen and roll top baths.

Original and restored features include exposed brickwork, and stunning reconditioned fireplaces. One of the suites has got its own cinema and terrace.

The French style Bistro with a modern edge houses the first Hotel du Vin open style kitchen while the bar is set in the unusual labyrinth of vaulted cellar rooms, serving a huge selection of wines & champagne by the glass, in addition to cocktails and a vast array of Single Malts and Armagnacs.

Not only is this a place for relaxing on leisurely afternoons but perfect for a unique wedding: ‘The Abbey Well’ can hold up to 24 guests for a private dinner. Your pre dinner drinks can be held on the terrace or in the Library next door.

Finally, guided by our Head Sommelier, you and up to 10 friends can discover the deepest secrets of our cellar. You’ll be taken on a pilgrimage around the finest vineyards, without having to leave our tasting room or its fabulous Laroche tasting table.
