The Fisher Theatre is one of the oldest provincial theatres in the UK, built in 1824. It is situated in the small market town of Bungay in Suffolk.
As a wedding venue it offers 3 unique spaces.
The Auditorium can accommodate up to 100 people on round banquet tables. With all the lighting effects that you would expect in a theatre a magical atmosphere can be created. Guests also have use of the cinema screen and multi media projection equipment to enhance speeches.
The Gallery is on the first floor and is ideal for more intimate ceremonies up to 50 people. It has a part vaulted ceiling and natural light comes from a glass roof tower and side windows.
The Cellar Bar is the original ‘Pit’, the area below stage from which the less well off would watch the performance. With its brick floor and walls, the Cellar Bar oozes character for informal ceremonies up to 50 people.
