Forde Abbey offers a unique wedding experience by combining a beautiful and historic country house venue with award winning gardens. Due to the monastic history of the building, and the sympathetic manner in which it has been converted into a family home, the features of the rooms on offer to bridal parties are not found in any other building in England. They combine to provide a venue offering romance, elegance, grandeur and beauty not available anywhere else.

For a civil ceremony chose from the grandeur of the Great Hall, with its magnificent 16th Century panelled ceiling, and the more intimate setting of the Monks Refectory. For the following reception the graceful arches of the 12th Century Undercroft offer a truly romantic finale to your day while more than 30 acres of beautiful gardens and the warm sandstone of the flower-lined Cloisters afford limitless possibilities for your photographs. With spacious lawns for a marquee there are facilities available to meet your individual requirements.
