These restored barns are approached along country lanes, through bluebell woods, yet are only minutes from the A281. At the heart of a family estate, the barns were built after the Great Storm using trees that had blown down! They combine all that is best about traditional design together with modern comforts. Authentic materials have been used yet the barns are heated and, therefore, equally suitable for a winter or summer wedding.

The open-fronted barn has a pretty garden overlooking open countryside, a superb setting for a drinks reception and photographs. This is a particularly pretty, rural venue with a friendly, helpful atmosphere.

Licensed for Civil Ceremonies/Partnerships. Up to 130 guests can be seated for dining in the barn. By using a custom-made marquee extension sited in full view of the top table, an additional 30 guests can be accommodated. This has been designed so that it feels like an integral part of the barn and all guests are in the jolly!

No one is better placed ensure that your event goes smoothly than Lisa Gough. She is on the spot at Gate Street Barn and, with her extensive event management skills, has helped to make this venue one of the most delightful in Surrey.
