Gliffaes is a family run hotel with close to 60 years of experience in arranging weddings. The hotel has 35 acres of grounds and a long sunny terrace overlooking the river Usk and hills beyond. The terrace is the ideal place for a summer reception and during winter the large reception rooms with log fires are the perfect alternative.

We are licensed for civil ceremonies and are able cater for parties up to 64 . Normally, ceremonies are held around midday followed by, reception drinks and photos then lunch. We ask that wedding parties finish by 6.00pm. We are unable to cater for parties in the evening unless the entire hotel and all twenty-three bedrooms are booked for two nights, we are only able to do this in November, December, February and March. There is an additional surcharge for exclusive use of the hotel. On our website you will find plenty of information, current costings, menu suggestions and more.
