Located in the beautiful riverside conservation village of Sonning-on-Thames (five miles from both Reading and Henley), The Great House makes the ideal venue for your Wedding Day. Our friendly and experienced staff will cater for all of your individual requirements to make your day a unique celebration.

Our Head Chef and his brigade have created an exceptionally wide range of dishes to choose from and we are delighted to theme or design an individual menu especially for you. Anything from the most simple and straightforward option to the more elaborate creation can be catered for.

Regatta is our bright and modern suite which has a wall of windows overlooking its own private terrace which in turn looks onto the beautiful gardens and River Thames. The Ferryman's suite is more traditional in style but also boasts its own private terrace with direct access from the suite. The view from the Ferryman's Terrace is also onto the gardens and river and this suite is licensed to conduct civil wedding ceremonies.

With 59 bedrooms in six different areas, guests can relax and enjoy the celebrations to the full. The hotel offers ample free parking.
