A unique wedding venue set in 170 acres of rolling Leicestershire countryside, the elegant, Georgian, Halstead House with its two converted ironstone built barns provides a special atmosphere for wedding receptions and parties and is licensed for civil ceremonies.

There are two rooms available for wedding receptions and parties, The Opera House, a converted barn which can seat 150 people and the 'Quail Shed' suitable for more intimate wedding parties of around 60 people. Both rooms are specifically licensed for civil ceremonies and more information regarding the details of holding a civil ceremony at Halstead House are available on request. Halstead House offers a refreshing rural venue for civil partnerships.

Ideal for a country wedding, receptions can be held throughout the year. Halstead House is an idyllic setting for a wedding ceremony and for the ensuing festivities, within easy reach of Leicester, Nottingham and the market towns of Melton Mowbray, Oakham and Market Harborough

Halstead House has been home to its present owner since 1964, its country gardens provide a wonderful backdrop for wedding photographs and a tranquil atmosphere for wedding guests. Spacious gardens, lakes and wonderful views make this an ideal choice for your Leicestershire wedding reception.
