Getting Married at Hatswell Meadows
This wedding venue is different and unusual.

By choosing to celebrate your wedding at Hatswell Meadows you have given yourself a blank canvas to design a small but perfect wedding You and your partner have the house to yourself. You can choose and arrange every detail to suit your budget. Your ceremony is private and your celebration has a wonderful house and Devon setting as its backdrop. The venue is only available for weddings for up to 40 guests
After the party is over you have a romantic Devon honeymoon house all to yourselves. What bliss!
Hatswell Meadows is a country home set in 20 acres of private grounds. It allows you and your partner to create the wedding of your dreams amongst the beauty and romance of the Exe Valley, Devon.

The Ceremony
Two rooms, the galleried hallway and the lounge are both licensed for marriage and civil ceremony at Hatswell Meadows

The Celebration
This is where the fun begins as you can devise your own party. Self cater if you wish there is a farmhouse style kitchen with an Aga. Or book a caterer of your own choice. The house is spacious and easily accommodates buffets of up to 40 guests. Unfortunately the garden is not suitable for marquees.

The Photographs
Hatswell Meadows is a private house with a large, landscaped garden and several terraces. The grounds are extensive and encompass a bluebell wood, ponds and exclusive river frontage onto the Exe with a rustic fishing hut as a backdrop. A stunning and diverse setting for your photographic wedding memories.

To get married or have your civil ceremony in Hatswell Meadows you simply book the house as a holiday home and add £325 wedding supplement.
