"After a failed search for a perfect venue we went to see Highcliffe Castle. We are so glad we did! As soon as we turned into the driveway and saw the castle, we knew our search was over. We were greeted by their friendly wedding co-ordinator, Jaine Fry, who showed us around the castle and it's grounds. Jaine stressed that it was our day, and gave us lots of ideas on how to personalise our wedding. The grounds were beautiful and perfect for photographs. The booking process was straight forward and we were given advice on who we needed to contact. All together a professional service. We are now looking forward to our wedding day in October, knowing that it will be a brilliant day! "

Highcliffe Castle is a spectacular Grade 1 listed cliff top castle, completed in the early 19th century and is licensed for civil weddings. The style of architecture is appropriately called “Romantic and Picturesque” The historic castle is owned by the local council and is being restored in conjunction with English Heritage and the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Highcliffe Castle offers the magnificent Wintergarden for the ceremony seating up to 100 guests, with spectacular views to the Isle of Wight, floral arrangements are provided in this room. A choice of times, every day of the week, throughout the year are offered.

After your ceremony, couples have the option of hiring our refurbished Suite, which incorporates the original State Dining Room to the house. The dining room can hold 80 seated and the entire suite can take up to 150 overall in the evening.
