Holdenby House is a special place and we try to offer the perfect setting for very special weddings.

The house is a much-loved family home, not a cold commercial venue. This helps to give it such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Because it is lived in, Holdenby is only available for weddings on a handful of days each year. We want those days to be memorable for the couples who celebrate their weddings here.

We do not accept more than one wedding (or any other function in the house) on the same day. The house and grounds will be exclusively yours while you are here. We would like you to feel that it is your own private home. You will not be shoe-horned in and out of the building or stared at by visiting tourists.

We want you to have the wedding you choose. We will simply charge you a facility fee to use Holdenby. We will offer whatever help you require, but otherwise leave you to organise things exactly how you want them. We are licenced to hold civil ceremonies.
