Kirtlington Park is a beautiful Grade 1 listed, 18th Century mansion house situated close to the M40, not far from Oxford. It is set in many acres of parkland, laid out by "Capability" Brown, with breathtaking views over the gardens to the Chiltern Hills. This is a venue on the grand scale with a fine classical portico, high ceilings, noble portraits, antique furniture, intricate plasterwork and terraced lawns - yet the atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Photographic opportunities are legion with not just one sweeping oak staircase but two! Up to 134 guests can be seated comfortably for dining in the elegant Hall. The reception is held in the Saloon, with full-length double doors to the pretty garden terrace with steps down to the lawns. For those quieter moments, the Grey Drawing Room and the Sitting Room, with its famous painted ceiling, are also available.
