"It is with grateful thanks that we write to you to express our appreciation of the Reception that you laid on for our daughter, Nikki and Nicholas Barton. We can truthfully say that everything was done to a very high standard and we have no complaints. Your patience with the photographers was a help. The room was laid out and decorated beautifully. Everyone said the food was of very high quality, cooked well and served attractively. We had comments about the waiting at table. "It was done quickly, politely and unobtrusively" they said. The buffet food in the evening was so good, everything fresh, such a variety and plenty of it. The disco had a good variety and was not too loud for we old'uns ! The staff clearing up late in the evening gave us confidence that everything would be safe and secure. Looking back on the day, we have very happy memories that everything (except the weather) was just as we wished."

The Langstone Cliff Hotel is set in 19 acres of Devon woodland and enjoys spectacular sea views. The Hotel lawns run from a picturesque verandah down towards the Sea which is framed by the hotel woods providing ample photographic opportunities.

The Hotel has hosted wedding receptions since it's opening in 1947and can offer a variety of rooms available for parties from 2 to 400 guests. The Langstone Cliff hotel has 5 rooms licensed for civil weddings.

Each of the hotel's 65 bedrooms has en-suite facilities including bath and shower, tea and coffee making facilities, Remote control colour tv with Sky, trouser press and hairdrier.

There are a wealth of leisure facilities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Tennis, a Fitness room, a Hairdressing Salon, a Therapy room offering a variety of holistic therapies, Snooker and Table Tennis. There are also indoor and outdoor play areas for children.
