The castle and its magnificent grounds are owned by the Leeds Castle Foundation - a charitable trust established in 1974 by the castle’s last private owner, the Hon Olive, Lady Baillie. She, like so many other illustrious owners, fell in love with Leeds, and its care and conservation became her life’s work.

The Library, Dining Room, Gatehouse and Maiden’s Tower are all licensed for civil marriage and partnership ceremonies. A choice of impressive settings is also available for your reception – from banquets in marquees on the lawns, to small intimate gatherings of family and friends in the castle.

Leeds Castle offers a host of finishing touches including musical entertainment and stunning flower arrangements prepared by the castle’s florist, along with wines and champagnes from the castle’s extensive Norman cellars.
