Reception: 25 seated or 80 standing within the house, and up to 400 in a marquee of your choice on the lawn.

Luckington Court, is a privately owned, family run, grade 2* listed, beautiful Queen Anne country House, set in 150 acres of gardens, meadows and fields. Surrounded by the rolling Cotswold country side, it has the perfect setting for your wedding photographs and drinks reception.

A house on the plot historically dates back to King Harold, c1022-1066. In recent years the house has featured in several TV commercials & perhaps most famously featured as Longborn, home of the Bennett sisters in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. Within the grounds there is an interesting collection of ornamental Cherry trees and the Cedar trees are reported to be as much as 400 years old.

We are in the process of applying for a civil marriage licence, if you are considering a church blessing, the Norman parish church of St Mary & St Ethelbert, stands a few hundred yards from the house. Consent for the use of the church is by separate arrangement with the parish vicar.

Within the house we can accommodate up to 80 guests for a buffet style reception, although if you require a seated meal & dancing then a marquee on the lawn would be more suitable. We have selected excellent caterers who can meet the most exacting requirements, a selection of excellent local marquee suppliers, together with an extensive range of wines to choose from.
