A former 19th century church, St Jude’s of Blytheswood Square is now the striking Malmaison Glasgow.
72 spacious rooms, including eight suites, exude classic contemporary, style. Some suites are positioned on split-level mezzanines with sunlight streaming through the oversized angled windows. A Rupunzel-like metal staircase takes you down to the bar and 90 cover brasserie in the vaulted basement. The bar is perfect for intimate meetings, moody and dark with a brilliant shaft of light jutting down from a skylight that runs the length of the bar. Wooden tables with chess board tops fill the popular ‘Veuve Cliquot’ champagne bar serving which serves signature cocktails.
