Three miles south of Ripon, tucked privately away down a mile-long winding drive, stands one of the most astonishing and romantic of Yorkshire's mediaeval houses.

Unlike many venues, Markenfield does not offer a fixed wedding package. Because of the intimate nature of the venue we are able to be flexible and tailor your very special day to your needs, requirements and dreams.

For those wishing to have a Service of Blessing following their Civil Ceremony, the Hall is uniquely placed in having a beautiful mediaeval Chapel where both Catholic and Anglican Services can be held.

Because Markenfield is such a romantic, quiet place - and above all a family home - we ask that you limit the number of guests to 35.
