The Matara Centre is an uplifting oasis of beauty and calm in the unspoiled Cotswold countryside that will capture your heart in an instant.
Set in 28 acres of outstanding natural beauty, it is a place dedicated to the full expression of the human spirit.
When holding your wedding or special celebration at Matara, you will be given exclusive use of the centre and the gardens on the day, without intrusion or restriction.

We are licensed for civil marriages and commitment ceremonies. And after the legal formalities are over, you are free to express yourselves with a ceremony of your own design.

Matara's beautiful glass-domed banquet room can seat up to 150 guests. Several interconnected smaller rooms, each uniquely different, may also be used to create the ideal setting for your celebration. And our cloistered courtyard and parkland offers endless backdrops for beautiful wedding photography.

Our food is lovingly prepared using fresh, local, seasonal ingredients - organic wherever possible. And we cater for many vegetarians, vegans and other diets.
