Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds on the borders of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, Merriscourt is an elegant and exclusive choice of venue for the perfect country wedding in a stylish rural setting. Dating back to the 15th century, historic Merriscourt boasts a stunning Cotswold stone and gravelled courtyard that provides a fine welcome.

Its unique layout, with seating for up to 132, allows you and your guests to make the most of your special day. Two airy interconnected barns create a wonderful sense of space and light: the Civil Wedding Ceremony is conducted in the Stone Barn, and guests can then move on to the Gallery for a champagne and canapé reception.

The lime-washed White Barn allows the wedding celebrations to progress smoothly and seamlessly from dinner to dancing. Accommodation for the bride and groom is available in a traditional "bothy". Our in-house chefs select the very best of locally-sourced seasonal produce to ensure a delicious menu to meet all tastes. Merriscourt provides a comprehensive wine list, and there is also an option to bring your own wine.
