The best day of our lives, everything was perfect from the moment we arrived.
The weather was beautiful, the staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was excellent.
We will celebrate our anniversaries there to recapture the moment."
The Mill House Restaurant & Hotel is a charming Georgian House dating back to 1823, set within beautiful gardens nestling beside the river Loddon.
In more recent times the house and grounds have been restored to their original Georgian splendour and we are now considered an enviable wedding venue.
We hold a licence for civil ceremonies in two of our rooms. One is for up to 60 guests and our larger room for up to 120 guests.
For winter and intimate weddings we would recommend the use of the house for your wedding. With the log fires and a variety of rooms this makes a cosy venue for you and your guests to enjoy to the full.
For larger summer weddings we offer our riverside marquee which can hold up to 120 guests for a luncheon followed by an evening reception for up to 180. Whichever suits your requirements you are assured of a day that you will cherish for the rest of your lives with service that is very friendly, attentive, yet unobtrusive.
We currently offer twelve bedrooms for you to book for your family and friends so that if they are travelling from afar they can arrive and refresh in their room prior to the wedding taking place. All rooms are individually decorated retaining the character of the house and offer en-suite facilities. Our four poster suite is saved for the bride and groom with our compliments.
