National Museums Scotland can offer spaces for civil or religious weddings, civil partnerships, blessings and the renewal of vows. We can offer a number of exciting, romantic and unusual venues for weddings both in Edinburgh, East Lothian, Glasgow and Dunfriesshire.

Our venues include National Museum of Scotland, National Museum of Flight, National Museum of Rural Life, National Museum of Costume and the National War Museum. So whether you wish to get married on board one of the twentieth century’s most iconic creations or with fantastic views of Edinburgh Castle, the National Museums Scotland can offer unique and inspirational spaces for the joyful celebration of your wedding.

We have a team of dedicated Hospitality & Event Managers who are available to you throughout the planning stages of your wedding for consultation and site visits and will co-ordinate the wedding on the day itself. Our ethos is one of partnership – we appreciate that the most successful events are those planned closely together. Our team are happy to liaise directly with you and the caterers, florists, entertainers to ensure that the finer details of the wedding are discussed and organised before the big day.
