Your wedding day is an incredibly special day, and one which you will treasure. At Newby Hall we can help you to transform your dreams and ideas into reality. Set in 40 acres of beautiful gardens bounded by the River Ure, Newby is a truly idyllic setting for a wedding. The elegant 17th Century house with its exquisite Adam interiors provides a unique and atmospheric venue.

We can incorporate different elements of Newby into your own tailored – made day. We sit down with you to prepare a detailed programme so that everybody knows who is doing what and when. At Newby there is always someone to answer queries, offer advice and help however they can, whatever the problem. We take the trouble so that you can relax and enjoy the whole day. Unlike many venues Newby does not hold more than one wedding at a time – your day deserves our full attention to ensure it is perfect!

Wedding ceremonies can be held in the Statue Gallery or adjoining Library. Receptions may be held in the house itself or in a marquee in the grounds. We also have a purpose built function room within the grounds, the Grantham Room, which is available for receptions.
