Situated on the borders of Blackheath and Greenwich Park, with the Meridian Line passing through its grounds, Ranger's House is an elegant early Georgian villa with graceful panelled interiors. It was built around 1700 as the official residence of the Ranger of Greenwich and is now home to the Wernher Collection, a glittering spectacle of 700 Renaissance works of art. With sumptuous interiors, Ranger's House is a stylish and memorable setting for special events. The gallery, with its rich wooden floor and panelled ceiling, offers a perfect setting for civil ceremonies, drinks receptions and dinners. Its three bay windows offer views across the private walled garden, Greenwich Park's rose garden and the Heath.

New Walled Garden marquee site available for glittering celebrations and entertaining located next to the Olympic equestrian site. Nestled within the walls of the private garden, the site is now licensed for a marquee for up to 100 guests. It offers another sparkling dimension to this unique venue.

Late availability offers from Ranger's House

Save over £500 by making a date to marry in the stunning Hollywood-style surroundings of Eltham Palace & Gardens, London’s wonderfully sophisticated wedding venue oozing with nostalgic 1930s glamour.

This special offer, available for all weddings until April 2012 and selected dates after that, gives you exclusive use for your ceremony and drinks reception in this Art Deco mansion, set in 19-acres of idyllic moated gardens, for just £995.

Once the childhood home of flamboyant King Henry VIII, it was transformed in the 1930s into a superb millionaire’s mansion and still bears the unmistakably stylish stamp of Art Deco, making it one of London’s most sought-after wedding locations.

You can choose to marry either in the circular coffee and cream Art Deco Entrance Hall or under the original oak roof of the Tudor Great Hall, ideal for larger ceremonies.

Afterwards, interlinked rooms in the 1930’s mansion make a dramatic setting for celebratory drinks. In fine weather, your guests can move through French doors onto a terrace with views over lawns, flower borders and cooling water.

Dining, dancing and celebrations may be staged in the medieval hall or in marquees to accommodate 400-plus guests.
