Rufford Abbey Country Park is a historic estate in the Nottinghamshire Dukeries, three miles east of famous Sherwood Forest. It offers a stylish venue for civil weddings and a choice of two locations for your reception.

The Talbot Suite at Rufford Mill
Overlooking tranquil Rufford Lake, this sturdy brick building was once a corn mill on the Rufford estate. A historic site with a contemporary interior, the Talbot Suite at Rufford Mill is now available for civil weddings / partnership ceremonies and receptions. The function room, on the first floor, has easy access by lift & stairs and separate bar adjoining. The spacious and airy 49ft x 29ft room will comfortably seat 150 guests theatre style, or 100 banquet style. A dedicated car park in the mill courtyard offers 20 spaces. Close by is a woodland car park with ample additional parking.

The Savile Restaurant At Rufford Abbey
The Savile Restaurant at Rufford Abbey was once the kitchen of the historic Abbey and still retains a Victorian ambiance. Seating 50 guests, the Restaurant is perfect for smaller wedding receptions or wedding breakfasts, just 5 minutes by car from Rufford Mill, or a 10 minute walk through the park.
