Somerley, the spectacular private stately home of The 6th Earl of Normanton, is situated in a magnificent setting on the edge of the New Forest, 90 minutes from London and 20 minutes from Southampton and Bournemouth airports.
The 7,000 acre private estate of meadows, woodland and rolling parkland, provides a magical setting for every bride’s dream wedding. Four of the State Rooms are licensed for Civil Ceremonies and the breathtaking Picture Gallery can seat 120 guests for a wedding breakfast, or 200 for a Civil Ceremony, with larger weddings using a bespoke marquee in the beautiful gardens.
Eight guest bedrooms are available for the Bridal party, with full English breakfast served in the state Dining Room. The house is never open to the public and Somerley is only booked on an exclusive basis.
