Situated in the picturesque Dorset village of Fontmell Magna, surrounded by the most stunning country landscape, Springhead’s mill and lakeside gardens promise a truly romantic setting for an intimate wedding of up to 50 guests. Couples can now exchange their marriage vows in one of the licensed rooms or, alternatively, if they are from the parish get married in the village church, which is within walking distance.

Unlike most hotels, the couple and their guests have exclusivity of the venue, which offers a comfortable reception room for pre-drinks and socialising, a dining room for a sit-down menu or buffet, a dance area on the ground floor, as well as full kitchen facilities that can be used for catered or self-catered functions. The accommodation for up to 30 people is ideal for families, although some single and twin rooms are available.

Recognised for its spectacular gardens, Springhead has many enchanting areas for those special photographs, including a delightful wooden bridge over fresh water springs and an antique Italian rotunda beside the lake.
