Stoke Hall's unique location, landscaped grounds, secret garden and beautiful interior make it the most stylish venue in the East Midlands.
Civil ceremonies or partnerships for up to 100 guests can take place in the bright and cheerful Orangery flooded with natural sunlight, the Grand Reception Hall with its high glass cupola, the more intimate Lord Bromley Study or the richly decorated Old Library.
All four rooms are licensed for ceremonies and can be adapted to your individual requirements, from casual to more traditionally formal. If you are thinking of a romantic wedding on the stairs, our stairway is perfect for the occasion and for you photography afterwards. Private dressing rooms are also available before the ceremony.
The enchanting Secret Garden with its exotic plants, palm trees, bamboos and central fountain is available for your wedding day photography, relaxation and enjoyment.
Situated in open countryside almost a mile outside the village of East Stoke and approximately four miles from the medieval town of Newark-on-Trent, Stoke Hall is approached by a pleasant country lane and then by a long dramatic drive, passing majestic redwoods and an ancient sweet chestnut: leading to the imposing entrance and through into the Grand Reception Hall with its towering atrium and three hundred and sixty degree cantilevered staircase. The perfect start to your exclusive wedding ceremony.
Conveniently situated between the A1 and M1, the dualling of the A46 makes Stoke Hall ideally placed to serve the counties of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Yorkshire. Newark's high speed train service to London Kings Cross only takes an hour and twenty minutes.
Stoke Hall is owned by Bryan and Diane Ansell who will be delighted to arrange your private viewing and accompany you on a tour of the Regency Hall and garden.
