Sudbury Hall offers you the Saloon for your civil wedding ceremony. This beautiful wood panelled room with unique wood carvings by the 17th century craftsman, Edward Pierce, has highlighted giltwork, walls hung with large family portraits and was featured as the 'music room' in the BBC's production of 'Pride and Prejudice'. The Saloon was formerly used as a music room and place to entertain guests and has delightful views to the south across the terraces and lake.
The Hall itself stands on the western edge of Derbyshire in a wonderful landscape setting, perfect as a backdrop for wedding photographs. The house was built by George Vernon in the early 1660s and is the former home of the Lords Vernon.
We would love to show you the Saloon and discuss any particular requirements you may have to make your day even more special.
