The charming 15th century hotel, located opposite Wells Cathedral is licensed for civil weddings and can accommodate up to 100 guests for a wedding breakfast and 150 for an evening reception.

The Oak Room, the Garden Room and Walled Garden are exceptionally beautiful venues for all types of wedding.

Civil Ceremonies
The Garden Room is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies for upto 70 guests. It adjoins the Oak Room and opens out onto the Walled Garden.

Wedding Receptions
The Oak Room on the ground floor boasts its own reception and bar with a large seating area. Up to 100 guests may be seated on round tables for wedding breakfasts. The room is beautifully decorated with oak panelling and interesting antiques. For guests requiring an evening function following their wedding breakfast, we are able to cater for 150 guests. A built in dance floor may be uncovered for evening receptions with music.
