The castle is licensed for civil ceremonies, and can cater for parties of up to 120 guests - the choice of rooms being the elegant Panelled Room or the spacious Library. The ground floor reception rooms can cater for the celebrations with smaller groups in the private dining room seating up to 24, the dining room seating 90 or the option of a marquee site adjacent to the library.
For something truly `out of this world’ try our Deerhouse in the parkland for a candlelit celebration, afternoon barbeque or for a marquee site.
Recently refurbished, each bedroom is individually designed on the Theme of a Yorkshire town, dale, castle abbey or garden - including a room in the turret set on three circular floors with a Victorian rain bath, and three other sumptuous suites. All rooms enjoy superb views over the gardens, lake, parkland or gatehouse, with the peace and tranquility of the rural setting.
The hotel offers a wide range of country pursuits including riding, fishing, golf, shooting and mountain biking. Health and beauty treatments are also available with bridal packages on offer, a spa and fitness area. There is also a Bird of Prey and a Cookery School situated in the grounds.

Olympic Wedding
This is a NEW package we have launched for all new wedding bookings for summer 2012, as part of the celebrations for the Olympics in 2012!
The package is for a wedding for 60 guests, including Exclusive Use of Swinton Park for one night, all 30 bedrooms (accommodation for up to 60 guests) drinks reception, wedding breakfast with wine, sparkling wine for the toast and bacon butties served late evening. We also include the little extras such as, the services of a professional toastmaster, a bridal make up trial, and a menu tasting!
This is a great all inclusive package at £12,500 for 60 guests. (You are able to reduce the package price by up to £6,000 by charging your guests for their accommodation!)
This package can also be booked as a two night event, with the inclusion of a second night's bed and breakfast (again in 30 bedrooms for up to 60 guests) and a barbecue buffet dinner. The package price is £18,500 (with the option of charging £12,000 in accommodation costs to resident guests).
Package available for Sunday – Thursday, April - October 2012.
