Located in a stunning coastal location overlooking the South Devon coast near the Salcombe Estuary, Thurlestone Hotel provides one of the most beautiful and romantic settings in the South West for your wedding day, with glorious views overlooking our sub-tropical gardens to the National Trust coastline and famous thurle stone in the sandy bay beyond.

Thurlestone is a four-star, family owned hotel and has been since 1896 when it was first established by the Grose family. For more than 100 years we have provided a professional but friendly service for the many guests who have visited and stayed with us.

All of our senior staff and our dedicated Wedding Coordinator have extensive experience in the organisation and management of Civil Ceremonies and Wedding Receptions and they are here to work with you through all the planning and preparation stages for your very special day.

Following a recent £2.5 million pound investment we can offer you as a venue our newly designed and refurbished Yarmer Suite, 150 seater Margaret Amelia Restaurant and brand new outdoor swimming pool and al fresco diner – named the ‘Rock Pool’, together with the extended terrace leading from our Cocktail Bar, all with views overlooking the sea.

In addition we have 64 luxury four star bedrooms, indoor pool, Jacuzzi Spa Bath, Sauna, Fitness Suite, 9 hole Golf Course, Tennis, Badminton and Squash Courts, Snooker and Children’s’ Play Rooms, Beauty and Hair Salon and ample parking for you and your guests.
