The Castle is situated in the heart of England, with stunning views across the surrounding countryside.

We feel privileged to have our fantastic, luxury marquee erected within the Castle grounds available for your dream wedding. Marquee available from 1st April until 31st December each year, making it an affordable option. Special rates available for October, November and December weddings 2008 and April and May 2009.

Originally built in the 1070’s for one of William the Conqueror’s Barons, it has known, and been involved in some of the most dramatic events in almost 1000 years of English history. A bloody place of siege and battle as well as a mighty prison, holding Mary, Queen of Scots on three occasions.

Since the year 2000, Tutbury Castle has enjoyed something of a renaissance with the caring and enthusiastic attention given to it by the present curator.

We offer a friendly, professional service with flexible menus and a personal touch to help you feel relaxed.
