Reception: Maximum 80 during the day, 200 for an evening reception. 200 people can be accommodated in a marquee.

Whilst we cannot offer a wedding ceremony in Winchester Cathedral we can provide two venues for your wedding reception. Firstly in our purpose-built Paul Woodhouse Suite, which can accommodate up to 80 people with the additional use of the main Refectory and terrace area, which can cater for up to 200 people for your evening requirements. Secondly we can offer a marquee on the spacious lawn of the historic gardens of No 1 The Close, which offers a unique setting and offers magnificent views of the Cathedral.

Menu selectors and wine lists are available, however this selection is just a suggestion, and our chef would be very happy to produce any alternative dishes you may request to suit your own budget. We do not have set menus for weddings as we feel that a wedding is a special and individual occasion and it is better to discuss your requirements over a coffee, with no obligations involved

We are able to offer full sit down meals, buffets or barbeques, all with fully licensed bar. Our waiting staff are trained and carefully selected to make your function run smoothly and efficiently.
