Wolterton Hall is becoming a popular venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions. It is set in the midst of parkland in North Norfolk. It is situated about 15 miles from Norwich and 5 miles from the nearest market town - Aylsham.

The splendid eighteenth century saloon, hung with tapestries and portraits and with views over the Lake, is licensed for ceremonies. Adjacent is the grand Marble Hall with views over parkland.

Both rooms may be used for receptions and other smaller rooms in the Hall may be made available. These rooms are on the first floor of the Hall.

If you wish we can arrange marquees, catering, florists and photographers, or if you wish to make your own arrangements, send you lists of suitable people.

We suggest you come to see the Hall to find out if it is what you want. We specialise in a personal approach and like to consider each wedding separately.

Weddings may be held on weekdays as well as Saturdays but not on Friday afternoons from May to October.

There is ample room in the garden of the Hall for marquees, beautiful backgrounds for photographs and plenty of car parking space. The maximum number for the Hall itself is 100 guests and all celebrations must end at midnight.

At Mannington there are beautiful grounds with a tearoom and kitchen but no licensed room.
