"My husband and I hired this venue for our winter wedding. I had use of the bridal cottage the night before with my friends. The cottage was very cosy and well equipped. The staff brought over a lovely breakfast for us in the morning.I had use of the dressing room in the late morning for hair and makeup. Our wedding Co- ordinator Joanna was friendly ,efficient and very professional. The venue is stunning especially so at night. The canapes and wedding breakfast was superb . The serving staff were very efficient and professional
The evening buffet was lovely and replenished often. Our marital cottage was like a suite and had a bottle of bubbly included. We would highly recommend Leez Priory. It's a stunning venue with professional staff and great food. "

"Having attended a friends wedding here in Oct 2006, we were so blown away by this beautiful ancient place that my now wife and I decided to get married on the strength of it.
Deep in unspoilt countryside this place is so lovely that it was moving to watch the guests arrive and be open-mouthed with wonder at the sight of it all. From the gravel drive, through the gates to the main house, wedding tower and immaculate gardens complete with duck strewn lake.
We were amazed at what good value too. We did the whole thing with 70ish guests, fed and watered with more in the evening for well under £10k including all 15 rooms for the night, disco, buffet etc. (admittedly we were taking advantage of one of their special offers.)
I have had so many people say since that it was easily the best wedding they've ever attended. I can't remember the name of our 'arranger' but she was amazing all day and evening, staying on site right through to the morning.
We even had sunshine and snow all on the same day. I can't recommend it highly enough.
One note, insist early on in the arrangements if you want the bar open for the arrival of guests before the ceremony. They will avoid opening it if they can!"

"On the spur of the moment, my wife (to be) and I booked our wedding at Leez Priory at short notice on the recommendation of a friend. It was the best spontaneous decisions that we ever made and from the moment that the venue was booked, every aspect went without a hitch - mainly down to the professionalism and meticulous planning of the staff and management at Leez Priory.
The actual building is stunning and is "yours" for the day - and night if the option of overnight accommodation is taken. This means that no outsiders will end up strolling through the celebrations which often happens at Hotel weddings.
Our wedding day was perfect - from the weather to my wife's smile, from the beautifully tended lawns to the magnificent buildings, from the staff (a big thank you to Suzie!) to the sumptuous food and from the ceremony (performed in the tower overlooking the whole site) to the evening reception.
The evening buffet was as spectacular as it looked with a huge selection of delights including savoury, sweet, fruits and salads. There was not a curled up sandwich in sight and the food was replenished throughout the evening so that no-one could possibly go hungry.
It was a truly memorable event that was enjoyed by everyone - even my Mother-In-Law!
If you plan to get married, I can think of no better way of doing it and although it does cost a fair amount, on reflection it is exceptional value compared to similar weddings that I have attended. As far as we are concerned, it was worth every penny to ensure that our big day went as smoothly as possible, that all our guests had the time of their lives, were fed and watered like royalty and left us with a memory of a special day that will live with us forever."
